(REHIS) Emergency First Aid at Work - 6hrs

  • The Emergency First Aid at Work course provides essential lifesaving skills for dealing with a range of workplace emergencies. It is designed to give learners the confidence and knowledge to respond effectively in first aid situations.

    This course is accredited by the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland and meets recognised workplace health and safety standards.

    • Module 1: Introduction

    • Module 2: First Aid incidents

    • Module 3: Unconscious casualty

    • Module 4: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

    • Module 5: Choking casualty

    • Module 6: Wounds and bleeding

    • Module 7: Shock

    • Module 8: Minor & Other Injuries

  • Course duration

    Delivered over 1 day (approximately 6 hours), including practical training and assessment.

    Assessment & certification

    • Continuous practical assessment by the instructor

    • Successful candidates receive a certificate awarded by the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland

    • Certification is valid for 3 years

    Entry requirements

    No prior experience is required.
